Chef Doug's Gourmet Foods
Position is Hourly, Plus Commissioned based
Seeking an intern to grow sales on a three tier approach. The primary sales approach should be focused on increasing growth in Chef Doug’s mobile catering which is perfect for corporate events, safety recognition lunches, employee appreciation, company fun days, picnics, and fundraisers for nonprofit organizations. The intern will also work to increase sales of Chef Doug’s Gourmet line of food products which includes barbeque sauces, hot sauce, specialty breading, and a unique line of gourmet cookies. The intern will also promote Chef Doug’s events, and catering services.
The ideal candidate will aim to acquire new customers, maintain current customers, and acquire large orders for various events and the gourmet product line. He/she will work closely with the owner to create a local marketing plan that encompasses Fayette, Clark, Franklin, Montgomery and Scott Counties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Organize daily and weekly plans to meet with new and existing clients to increase mobile catering, product sales, and event catering.
Must be outgoing, professional in speech, dress and conduct.
ability to make and maintain contacts in the community with local businesses, schools, medical facilities, and other organizations are a plus but not necessary.
Must have excellent communication skills.
